The sun had just reached its highest place in the early noon, as a faint breeze waved over the dark fur of the AspenClan apprentice. On silent paws Cedarpaw had left his den, trying to sneak out of the camp without having to ask anyone if it was alright to go and train, instead of cleaning the moss in the elder's den. 'I will die of boredom, if I keep doing that.' he thought, rolling his eyes, as he looked over for a second. He was lucky, most of the cats in his clan were out hunting or were busy with other tasks. His mentor, Firefly, was nowhere to be seen, but he hoped dearly that someone would train some battle moves with him. The last thing she did before, at this day, was telling him to get some new moss for the elders and queens, but after he had done that and was told to do the cleaning as well, he lost all interest in agreeing with his duties.
Maybe he should go and search for one of his siblings? This idea wasn't too bad. He knew that Wildpaw and Whisppaw usually liked to do battle trainings with their smaller littermate, probably because they thought he could get tougher from it. 'Where are they, anyway?' Cedarpaw scanned the area, trying to find a hint of his siblings.

A silent predator in training stalked the tree tops just outside the Aspen Clan camp, shoulders rolling with each step as he stealthily trekked the branches above. His frostbitten limb was held close to his chest, like he had become accustomed to doing after his unfortunate event with the gorge, but little by little thanks to Silverwren's training he was becoming more and more skilled with his numb limb. For some time he hadn't been able to join in on the apprentice games which were held secret in the early morning hours. He had dominated when he was at his full strength but for the time being, as his body healed, he didn't feel the need to squabble with the other riff raff apprentices. Frosty teal orbs scanned the wintery, forest floor below before his dark ears perked with a sudden interest.
"Ah! What do we have here!" he whispered manically, a devilish smirk flashed quickly onto his maw. Just below him a familiar gray pelt trotted aimlessly amongst the frozen forest brush. Wiggling his rump slightly he lurched forward into the air, landing on his paws just behind his brother before toppling onto the side, his numb leg having not caught his weight quite well. Rolling quickly onto his paws again he bounded for his brother, tackling him to the ground. "I caught something. Something ugly" he teased with a mocking sneer, pinning his brother onto the ground with his own body, fuzzy stomach to fuzzy stomach.

Completely startled by the sudden emergence of his older littermate, Cedarpaw unsheathed his claws, ready to fight off whatever had attacked him. It took him a couple of seconds to notice that the weight that had pinned him down to the ground was his brother's slightly bigger body. With an annoyed look on his face he listened to the words of Wildpaw, narrowing his eyes in an unimpressed way, to show how much he did not care for the tease of the ginger-and-gray tom.
"Oh, and I thought I would have been attacked by an enemy that I can actually take serious." he huffed, then hid his claws again. Although he had much interest in getting up again, he did not take action and instead just lay there, starring at Wildpaw. "Care to get your enormous corpse down from me again or are you planning on sharing tongues with my face?"
