Kestreldive relaxed again, seeing that the fight had gone out of the loner somewhat, and appreciative for the additional space he opened up between them. The reasons he gave for his pride as a loner appeared sound, as far as she could judge them. She nodded, letting him know she understood a bit of it. If he felt that committed to his life, just as strongly as she was to hers, then there was little point in continuing to try and persuade him otherwise. Even if she still felt he was wrong.
Hunter's gaze seemed to hold no hostilities before he jumped off the rock into the water, towards shore and, after that, hopefully the border. His sudden changes in intensity were not new to the warrior, as she dealt with some similar cats in her clan, but never with one who held no loyalty to her. He could attack her if he wanted to, with the intent to injure or even kill. It was still frightening, but behind that there lay a thrill that the shecat hadn't known since kithood. The unknown.
A mystery.
But Kestreldive was unused to being so wrapped up in something new, and so when the large tomcat looked back over his shoulder and gave what seemed to be a parting gesture, she was a bit relieved he was leaving. "You've satisfied my curiosity for a long time to come. No need to hurry back." She watched with slight amusement as he awkwardly padded back onto the sand. The shecat quickly thought up a plan to silently sit on the rock and watch him walk up the slope and once he reached the crest, she'd follow after up to the top to make sure he was headed out of Tidal Clan territory. But he was just reaching the range at which her hearing would fail when a sudden urge to add one last thing gripped her. She decided it wouldn't hurt to go with it.
"Take care of yourself, Hunter!"
